Grenache, Syrah, and Malbec each thrive in Ulupalakua’s unique Upcountry climate, capturing the nuances of volcanic soils and cool island breezes. By blending these three varietals, our winemaking team leans into their complementary strengths—using Grenache for freshness and lift, Syrah for structure and savory depth, and Malbec for richness and polish.
