Inspired by stories of the Makee daughters riding astride (rather than side saddle) with their dresses swaying across historic Rose Ranch, now Ulupalakua Ranch. This red wine is a bold blend of spice, fruit, and finesse. The blending of these two contrasting varietals may seem odd at first: Viognier - a pretty, fruity, fragranced varietal, and Syrah - a rustic, masculine, spicy varietal. However, these two have a long history alongside one another and are one of the most iconic red-white unions in the wine world.
