Originally inspired by a bar mixer crafted for Makena Resort, Maui Splash has evolved through continual transformation. What began as a very sweet wine used primarily in cocktails later became a popular tasting-room spritzer—at one time even poured with lemon-lime soda. Eventually, the desire for the wine to stand on its own led to the style we have today.
