Description

Very similar to most traditional sparkling wines from around the world, our Pōhaku is a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Pōhaku, like all of our sparkling wines, is made in the Traditional Method (Methode Champenoise). The wine is then aged on the lees (dead yeast cells) between 20 to 24 months.

Pōhaku: Rock. The foundational element of Hawaiian culture. At MauiWine, Traditional Method Sparkling Wine is our "rock;" it is our foundational element. Almost 50 years ago MauiWine was built and planted for the production of Sparkling Wine. This wine represents our past, our place, and our future. This "brother" to Lokelani (Sparkling Rosé) is a crisp, Brut counterpart.
